Job Details Job Location: WRHS New Salem - New Salem, ND 58563 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: None Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly Details for Classroom Support Services Opening in New Salem Head Start is hiring a reliable, adaptable person to join our team! Be a driving force in keeping our center running smoothly. Duties include assisting in the classroom, prep/setup for meals and snack, grocery shopping, bus duty, cleaning, and ordering supplies. This is a full-time position offering comprehensive benefits with a supportive team environment. Pay is $17.00/hour Full-time during the school year. If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc. Requires high school diploma or GED. Requires a valid driver's license. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. (No visa sponsorships considered). Applicant may obtain CDL to drive small school bus. Head Start pays for the CDL course through Harlow's. Full-Time: 40 hours per week. Annual Term: Approximately 9 months (Mid-August to Mid-May). Enjoy your summers off! (Summer employment opportunities may be available through HIT, Inc.) Classroom Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Prep/Training Day: Wednesdays are dedicated to preparation and professional development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in classroom. Prep for breakfast and snack time. Set up for lunch at the elementary school. Maintain a clean, safe learning environment and facility. Check playground for safety concerns. Grocery shopping. Learn CACFP requirements and attend required training Clean staff vehicles and bus as needed. Pass CPR, First Aid, and CDL (if required) Drive bus routes, if applicable. Regularly required to walk up/down stairs (classroom is in the church basement); stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or sit on the floor while interacting with the students.
