Job Summary The West Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives, setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and implementing effective sales techniques to drive business growth and meet revenue goals, with complete analytics reporting and review. This individual will be a key driver of revenue growth and market expansion within the West region. This critical position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our sales organization, contributing to our mission of transforming the Fire protection and security Industries. Responsibilities · Promote a culture of teamwork and growth throughout the region in all areas · Lead and manage a team of sales representatives in several branches in the Southwest Region, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team targets are met. · Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth and increase market share based on key focus areas and strategic direction. · Achieve the annual sales production expectations, in Installation and RMR, and gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results and individual performances. · Establish sales goals by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for branches and sales representatives and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. · Conduct regular sales meetings to review progress, provide feedback, and address any issues or challenges. · Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and retention. · Involvement in selling directly to high profile customers and growing revenue for area. · Identify new business opportunities and target markets and develop strategies to penetrate and expand into these areas along our areas of strategic emphasis. · Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities. · Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Partner with Regional Operations leaders, administration, and Regional GM/VP. · Conduct regular performance evaluations for sales team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement. · Stay informed about industry best practices and new sales techniques, and train and develop the sales team accordingly. · Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and enforce ethical sales practices. · Other duties as assigned by management Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements · Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively. · Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. · Strong knowledge of security and life industry · Strong attention to safety and detail · Use and support team in the Net Suite CRM for sales activity and performance reporting. · Strategic thinking and opportunity identification, plan and execute these strategies. · Ability to build consensus and relationships with customers, employees and leadership · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions. · Knowledge of systems installed and supported by RapidFire in Security and Fire · Ability to coach, inspire and inspire team members · Ability to review and understand budgets and P&L statements · Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. · 10+ years of successful sales experience where team is exceeding quotas · Bachelor’s Degree preferred · Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices, engage with Net-Suite · Relevant certifications such as certified sales leader professional (CSLP) or strategic sales management certification a plus Pay is $210,000-220,000 with a bonus potential of up to $80,000
