You’re a key piece of the puzzle, taking great care to make sure every single thing is cleaned and sanitized to the highest of standards. Responsibilities Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing Qualifications Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift Can reach, bend, stoop Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions Ability to speak, read and write English Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans Work safely with sharp knives and utensils Support fellow employees as needed Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes Benefits Five (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off Paid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten Years Christmas Bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay) Health Insurance – Medical & Dental Programs Available 401K Plan – Immediate Eligibility.
