QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in event management, tournament operations, sports administration, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneously.
• Strong sales and relationship-building skills with the ability to drive registration and participation.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, and experience with tournament management software is an asset.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during events, with regular regional travel required.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Westcan Regional Manager – Tournament Operations is responsible for planning, promoting, and executing Play Hockey’s premier tournaments across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. This role requires a dynamic, highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully balance sales, logistics, and on-site management to deliver exceptional experiences for all participants.
