Description Position Overview A Wet Hose Driver is responsible for delivering short loads of petroleum products to customer locations in a safe, efficient manner, and within a specified window of time, at the direction of dispatch. These deliveries may take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, in nearly any kind of weather. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fills customer equipment and vehicles with Offen Petroleum products. Delivers small quantities to vehicles, equipment and tanks at both residential and commercial sites. Perform duties in accordance with local, state, federal regulations along with DDC procedures. Responsible for achieving delivery objectives set forth. Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations. Interpersonal skills and willingness to take direction from dispatcher and management. Provide excellent customer service. Requirements Required/Preferred Education & Experience Minimum two years' applicable driving experience. Possess a Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) with a HazMat endorsement and Tanker Endorsement. Clean driving records. Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, drug test and Homeland Security background check. Candidates must have a current medical card. Fuel or lubricant hauling experience preferred. Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary; may regularly require the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift 80+ lbs. with assistance. Working Environment and Physical Demands (Field Positions) Lift, push & pull up to 75lbs. repeatedly throughout the course of the shift. Walk, squat, stoop, kneel and bend repeatedly at each delivery location. Enter and exit truck cab multiple times throughout the day. Climb on top of and inspect trailer.
