Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of water supply, sewerage, and stormwater systems for various projects in the region. Develop comprehensive designs for wet utilities systems, including water distribution networks, sewage collection systems, and stormwater management facilities Utilize CAD software and hydraulic modeling tools to create accurate and efficient designs Perform hydraulic calculations and analysis to ensure optimal system performance Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and contractors Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates for wet utilities projects Ensure compliance with local and international design standards and regulations Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor project progress Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and solutions Stay updated on industry trends and innovative technologies in wet utilities design Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wet utilities design Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks or EPANET Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent project management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of local and international wet utilities design standards and regulations Understanding of sustainable water management practices Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Willingness to travel to project sites as required Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
