Job Description Our Wellington Wētā Cave team offer tour experiences, creative workshops, and events that are our chance to share our creativity with the world, providing visitors up-close experiences into the craftsmanship that happens within our workshop every day. At our Wētā Cave retail store guests can purchase props, merchandise and collectibles. The coolest thing about the items we sell? They are designed and made by the same artists who make the epic stuff you see in films. We are looking for more Hosts to join us in time for the busy summer season. We have both casual and fixed-term, part-time roles available. Here's the deal As the awesomely approachable face of Wētā Workshop, you'll be rubbing shoulders with not only the most passionate and dedicated fan base on the planet, but families, film fans, and guests from all over the world. You'll be energetic and charismatic and have a love for creativity in all its forms, representing and showcase Wētā Workshop to our beloved guests. Ideally you'll have previous customer service experience and a passion for our industry. You can find out more about the role in our job description here. The details We have the following hours available: Casual Fixed Term Part Time through to the end of summer for either: 14 hours per week 20 hours per week 24 hours per week The hourly rate for this role is $27.80 (training is fully paid) We have training dates starting throughout October. The Cave is open from 8.00am to 6.00pm, 7 days a week so we’re looking for people with good availability across the week and weekend. Responsibilities

As a Wētā Cave Host, you will provide tour experiences, creative workshops, and events to share the creativity of Wētā Workshop with visitors. You will engage with a diverse range of guests, showcasing the craftsmanship behind the products sold in the retail store.
