Location: South Elmsall, Pontefract Shift: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30 £16.38ph   Purpose  Working in the Optimisation team, the WF Resource Validation & Support Analyst is responsible for providing all senior stakeholders with regular and ad hoc reports, aimed mainly at improving cost across NDL.    Responsibilities Initial responsibilities will be to design, build, and maintain high-quality reporting and insights on Health & Safety metrics, enabling informed decision-making, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance across the organisation. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on key Health & Safety metrics Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly reporting solutions Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and consistency Analyse trends and patterns in safety data to identify risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities Provide actionable insights to H&S leaders and operational teams Work closely with the Health & Safety team to understand their needs and priorities. Act as a bridge between technical data teams and non-technical stakeholders. Present findings clearly to a range of audiences, including senior leadership. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes Introduce best practices in data visualisation and storytelling Proactively monitor safety data to detect serious risks, anomalies, or deteriorating trends and escalate these promptly to Health & Safety and operational leadership. Automate repetitive daily/weekly tasks Setting up and maintaining Google Forms Experience in basic coding Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable spreadsheet-driven workflows using Google Apps Script / JavaScript, including automated email and data processes via Gmail API, Drive API, and other Google services, improving efficiency and reducing manual work Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership of work and delivering results to a high standard.
