Responsibilities

Forklift duties

  • Move pallets to the required area to be stored
  • Emptying and condensing rubbish in bins
  • Ensure pre-operational reports are completedon forklifts prior to operation
  • Other general forklift duties as required

Quality

  • Work in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
  • Practice good hygiene & sanitation procedures.
  • Contribute towards good housekeeping at all times
  • Complete forms/ check sheets as directed.

OHS Systems

  • Report any incidents/ accidents or near misses &/or hazards in a timely manner.
  • Be diligent in adhering to safe work practices and company policies
  • Take reasonable care of own and other employees health and safety

Production

  • Work as directed by the teams management and in accordance with Company policies,

procedures and work instructions

  • Responsibilities as defined by the Hazeldene’s Processing Collective Agreement
  • Cooperate with continuous improvement initiatives
