Description

This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week including some weekend working and bank holidays following a rota system. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service supplying support and practical engineering skills to maintain the wheelchairs that are supplied to our clients across the whole of the county.
The purpose of the role is to work independently with allocated tasks both within the department and in the most appropriate community setting to provide an effective and responsive wheelchair maintenance, delivery, collection and repair service for the Dorset Wheelchair Service. All activity must be fully compliant with all relevant national legislation and local Trust policy and procedures. This will involve travel across the whole county of Dorset.

You will contribute to the supply, repair, maintenance and delivery of all types of basic and complex wheelchairs that a multi disciplined service of staff offer our clients.
