WHITE GLOVE FURNITURE DELIVERY & INSTALLATION ASSISTANT

We’re currently looking to recruit a White Glove Delivery and Installation Team member, delivering a wide range of furniture items to our customer’s homes in and around the Essex and Suffolk areas. This role includes driving vehicles up to 3.5T
Hatfields is a well-respected, family run premium furniture store with a well-earned reputation for exceptional service delivered by exceptional people. Our delivery service is a vital part of this and is often the part of the experience that customers remember! We offer a white glove delivery service and treat every home like it was our own.
This is a position where no two days are the same, so if you enjoy delivering great customer service in a varied role this could be the position for you.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • No furniture delivery experience required as full training will be provided.
  • Face to face customer service experience desirable.
  • A willingness to learn all aspects of home deliveries.
  • A can do attitude with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Good local knowledge an advantage.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Due to the nature of the products we sell, the ability to lift and a good level of fitness is required.
    This is a full time position working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be expected to work additional hours when the demands of the business require.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering great customer service to our customers.
  • First class attention to detail in carrying out deliveries and installation in our customer’s homes.
  • Polite helpful interaction with customers – Going that extra mile.
  • Follow, instruction’s, given by the Team leader when delivering to customer’s homes.
  • Treating every home with the upmost respect.
  • Effective loading and unloading of the delivery vehicle. Training provided.
  • Careful handling and effective protection of products to minimise potential damage.
  • To assist in the warehouse when required. Training will be provided.
  • To ensure a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
  • Take responsibility for the presentation and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
