Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic appliances including white goods, refrigeration units, and cooking products. Provide high-quality customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of appliances to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Keep accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer feedback in compliance with company procedures. Stay current with the latest product information, repair techniques, and industry trends to enhance service quality. Collaborate with team members and provide support during peak service periods to ensure timely repairs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace. Proven experience as a white goods or domestic appliance engineer in a similar environment. Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ. Strong knowledge of domestic appliances, their components, and common faults. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet service deadlines.
