Job Details Job Location: Century Casegoods Plant 1 - Hickory, NC 28601 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Summary Job Description Position is responsible for inspecting whitewood products to ensure quality is being met. Essential Duties Using knowledgeable of different wood and veneer characteristics to determine repair action and quality Refits drawers and doors as needed Assembles a piece of wood or veneer to product as needed Observes all scratches, dents, dips; repairing case to original product quality Uses different wood related hand tools Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties Must follow all safety policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Qualifications Position Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred 1 year of woodwork repair experience strongly preferred Knowledge of various hand sanders a plus Physical Requirements The physical demands and work environment expectations described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
