WHOLESALE ACCOUNT MANAGER

OddBalls is a vibrant and innovative company specialising in unique and bespoke products, including underwear, socks, bobble hats, and supporting accessories. With a strong presence in the market, We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Wholesale Account Manager to take ownership of our growing wholesale portfolio.
You’ll play a key role in managing and expanding relationships with a range of partners – from Premier League clubs such as Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, to national high-street retailers like Next, leading ecommerce platforms like Fanatics, and independent outlets.
In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for wholesale partners. Your responsibilities will span order processing and tracking, upselling, enhancing point-of-sale performance (both in-store and online), and driving overall commercial success.
This role demands strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and a sharp commercial mindset to help maximize opportunities across all accounts.

The successful candidates’ Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-3 years proven experience in account management, wholesale, or B2B sales – ideally in apparel, retail or a fast-moving consumer brand.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably within the sports or apparel industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills for performance metrics and market research.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to sales and problem-solving.
  • The ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
  • An understanding of the sports market is highly desirable.
  • Experience with bespoke and stock product sales is advantageous.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Adaptable to changing business environments and customer needs
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with wholesale partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Process and track wholesale orders from placement to delivery, ensuring accuracy and excellent service.
  • Identify and action upsell opportunities to increase account value.
  • Collaborate with partners to enhance Point of Sale (POS), both in-store and online, to strengthen brand visibility and sales.
  • Monitor and report on wholesale account performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to ensure smooth coordination and fulfilment.
  • Support with the onboarding of new wholesale partners and build scalable processes for growth.
  • Provide input into forecasting and planning cycles based on account insights.
  • Attend partner meetings, events or trade shows as needed to strengthen relationships and promote the brand.

Salary and Benefits 

  • Salary £35k to £40k per annum dependent upon experience and competitive commission structure based on performance.
  • 24 Days annual leave plus bank holidays.

Place of Work 
This role is based at our office on the Tyne Tunnel Trading Estate in North Shields. 
Hybrid 1 day per week from home
Working Hours 
Full time, 37.5 hours per week 
· 8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Monday – Thursday 
· 8.30 a.m. – 2.00 p.m. Fridays
