Description The Transport Driver is responsible for safe and efficient transportation of product. The Transport Driver is an essential member of our organization as he/she is accountable for the handling of product, safe delivery of product, and meeting customer needs. The dependable and safety-conscious individual will be responsible for properly driving his/her truck and ensuring everybody’s safety. Requirements Responsibilities and Duties Drive and operate trucks. Follow delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch. Utilize electronic logs and dispatch software. Perform pre and post trip inspections. Load and unload the tank and handle hazardous liquids. Verify loads for accuracy. Transport the product safely to delivery site. Properly complete required paperwork. Adhere to safety regulations. Communicate with customer upon delivery site. Maintain equipment. Representing the Northdale Brand and all the whole Northdale team. The truck is Northdale’s biggest and most known billboard. Driving safely and respectfully is extremely important The truck is your office Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. CDL – Class A 21 years or older. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required. Specific skills: Traffic laws/DOT regulations/driving knowledge Ability to lift 80 pounds. Ability to pass random drug tests. Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years. Listening and verbal communication skills. Dependability.
