Responsibilities

KEY ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Wholesale Marketing Specialist role includes a variety of tasks and responsibilities that support the wholesale marketing manager, our current customer needs, and some support processes associated with pricing formulas, and contract-specific details. This role serves as the front-line communication to our customers, and this role is first and foremost customer service based: managing phone calls, emails, processing credits and rebills for our customers. Other responsibilities include database and inventory management, ad-hoc reporting and process improvement projects. This role supports the Marketing Operations team and function. Entry-level.

Knowledge of Work Areas and Responsibilities – Customer Service Focused

  • Represents the wholesale marketing operations team for Monroe Energy
  • Manages and maintains wholesale contracts and contract process from start to finish
  • Updates/publishes pricing into a pricing system to distributed to external counterparties
  • Communicates with customers to set up new accounts and/or maintain current accounts
  • Monitors day deals, input into Right Angle and manages volumes
  • Coordinates with the billing group to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Updates inventory levels based on terminal reports
  • Manages customer product allocations
  • Administrative duties (i.e.: set up meetings, order lunches, place orders for customer gifts, shipping)
