  Our client is an active manager of major long-term PPP infrastructure assets on behalf of investors. With the vision of being the trusted partner of choice for infrastructure solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand, our client draws upon their highly qualified staff to unlock the potential of infrastructure to benefit all stakeholders. They are looking for an experienced WHS Assurance Coordinator to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Sustainability & Risk, this is a hands-on role working collaboratively with asset operations teams to provide advice and support. Your responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring the WHS system meets statutory requirements
• Develop and undertake, in collaboration with asset management teams, risk assessment activities, and assurance audits relating to WHS, Food Safety, and Fire Safety.
• Undertake scheduled reviews, site visits and assessments of key WHS activities across the business and recommend areas of improvement.
• Provide hands-on support for incident investigations, hazard management, and corrective actions.
• Champion WHS best practices and collaborate with teams to enhance workplace safety.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with legislation, regulations, and operational agreements.
• Ensure timely reporting to meet required compliance and WHS reporting obligations for the organisation and its assets
• Provide support in relation to the administration, identification, measurement, control and review of operational risk registers, alongside recommending escalations to enterprise risks - ensuring risks are fit-for-purpose and integrated as part of day-to-day operations and strategies.
