ABOUT MINING AND QUARRYING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE (MAQOHSC)

The MAQOHSC (www.maqohsc.sa.gov.au) is dedicated to safeguarding workers from dust related disease through its 5-year strategy and yearly action plan. Through a collaborative approach involving industry, unions, and government, MAQOHSC delivers practical safety initiatives, education, and research to reduce workplace harm. With a strong emphasis on preventing dust diseases such as silicosis, the Committee plays a vital role in promoting a healthier, safer future for workers.
