Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Wifi Surveyor to conduct wireless site surveys, analyse RF environments, and optimize Wi-Fi performance using Ekahau tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with wireless technologies, RF planning, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and reliable wireless network coverage across various environments. We can offer training and upskilling to the right candidate who has the right attitude and is looking for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site Wi-Fi surveys (Active, Passive, and Predictive) using Ekahau Site Survey (ESS) and Ekahau AI Pro tools. (training provided for applicants with prior experience with other software)
  • Conduct on site survey reports for the cabling and installation of WI-FI devices
  • Create and deliver professional, data-driven reports and heatmaps with recommendations for Wi-Fi optimization. ( training provide if necessary )
  • Perform post-deployment validation surveys to ensure proper implementation of wireless designs.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Wi-Fi standards (e.g., 802.11ax), RF technologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel to client or site locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ekahau Certified Survey Engineer (ECSE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or multi-site wireless deployments.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure including switching, routing, and VLANs.

Work Environment:

  • Field work including walking through various physical environments (e.g., offices, warehouses, hospitals).
  • May require lifting of equipment and walking extended distances during surveys

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
