What You’ll Do As a valued member of our WIC team, you will: * Provide one-on-one emotional support to mothers and their significant others  * Offer practical guidance on normal breastfeeding and what to expect * Provide anticipatory support to help prevent common challenges * Advocate for breastfeeding within the community * Support families with cultural sensitivity and awareness * Participate in WIC Breastfeeding Support Groups Your lived experience and encouragement can make all the difference! What We’re Looking For: * Must be a current or former WIC participant * Must have breastfeeding experience * High School Diploma or GED * 1 – 3 years of experience working with diverse populations * Willingness to complete the Peer Counselor Training Program (we provide training) * A collaborative, community-focused mindset What We Offer * Competitive pay: $18.50 – $19.50 per hour * Flexible per diem schedule: 5–10 hours per week * A supportive, mission-driven work environment * The opportunity to make a real, visible impact in your community!
