A Day in the Life as a Program Assistant II: Your day will involve: Determining participant eligibility for WIC/CSFP/SFMNP program services in accordance with Agency, State and Federal guidelines by completing the intake process by gathering required demographic and financial information to assist with eligibility determination process for all participants. Assisting in performing hematological assessments and anthropometric measurements accurately records result in accordance with policies and procedures. Scheduling appointments, make reminder calls, and follow-up. General office duties including answering phones and other clerical duties Accurately documenting participant information in client records Your role will directly contribute to a positive participant experience. Requirements Qualifications to Be a Program Assistant II: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Education: Minimum High School Diploma, Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus. Experience: Two years of experience working in social services and/or clinical environment. Skills: Highly organized, adaptable to changing environments. Characteristics: Enjoy working with young families and elderly. Technical: Knowledge of and ability to use office software applications and computer systems. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary, as frequent travel to clinic sites in 3 counties is required. Ready to Apply?
