Ensure to follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements in conjunction with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable legislation;
Accurately records all information required on the current Production Time Sheet which includes proper recording of set-up time, running time, maintenance time, Material On, Material Off and total production;
Setting up and adjusting as needed on 4 bag making machines;
Ensure dockets and schedule are checked for what is to be made and material used; Ensure the bag measurements and other instructions pertinent to the job are read and understood;
Completing Quality Control Check Sheet every half hour or as required by customer, doing the necessary measurements & checks. Report any out of specification bags to Quality or Supervisors;
Reports to Supervisor any unusually large discrepancies with material on footage / roll stock;
Ensures every box is properly packed, receives the specified number of bags and is labeled correctly;
Maintains, at all times, good housekeeping and cleanliness around machines, keeping floor free of debris and always swept up. Performs Daily, Weekly and Monthly AM on wicketters;
Perform monthly BOP audit and Quarterly Hidden Hazard;
Performs all duties as outlined in the job description, plus any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
