Description

As a Sales Manager, your role is to lead the team that makes those connections possible by guiding, coaching, and supporting our Adventure Consultants so they can deliver outstanding service and help travellers find their perfect trip.
You’ll lead a high-performing team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll provide clear expectations, regular meetings, and 1:1 coaching to support your team’s growth and success.
You’ll also ensure smooth day-to-day operations, overseeing processes, standards, and business improvements that boost productivity. From team support and resource management (including rosters and goal setting) to reporting and admin, you’ll keep performance on track and the team set up to thrive.
This role requires flexibility, you’ll work across multiple time zones to collaborate with global colleagues and may need to adjust hours to include evenings, weekends, or holidays. Occasional US travel may also be required for training or team meetings
This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Denver, Colorado.

SOME OF THE EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING WITH YOU MAY INCLUDE: #LI-DNI

  • Experience in managing a high performing sales team
  • Exposure to the travel industry with an understanding of Wildland and Intrepid’s style of operations and roles
  • Experience in the travel industry and/or call centre operations
  • Previous team management experience including training, coaching, and development
  • Management training and/or qualifications advantageous
  • Personal and/or professional travel experience in our destinations, including experience with hiking and camping
  • Experience with and understanding of computer reservations systems and CRMs
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communicator
    This role offers a starting salary of USD $60,000, along with great benefits and some excellent perks including travel discounts, learning opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
