About the role
We’re seeking a proactive and technically skilled EUC Support Specialist to join our team, delivering comprehensive end-user computing support across allocated generation sites. This role is critical to ensuring seamless site operations, resolving technical challenges, and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
Please note this role is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide remote and onsite EUC support to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Escort and supervise contractors onsite, maintaining safety and security protocols.
  • Execute site processes and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Support network infrastructure including servers and switches.
  • Respond to ad-hoc technical requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Uphold and apply HSE processes to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage tech assets and spares, including criticality assessments.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as purchase order (PO) management.
  • Travel to remote sites to provide hands-on support.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and contractors.
  • Manage ITSM tickets and contribute to service performance reporting.
  • Embody and promote AGL’s values in all interactions and decisions.

About You

  • Experience in EUC support.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management.
  • A valid driver’s license and experience driving in rural areas.
  • ITSM experience and knowledge of service management processes.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and generation site operations (preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of cyber security.
  • A commitment to safety and role modelling safe work practices.
