JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential window and door installations and a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and restoring windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential for success in this position. All tools and vehicles to be provided

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven previous experience in windows and door installation is preferred
• Previous carpentry and general construction experience is an asset
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to window/door installation
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately
• Valid drivers license and ability to maneuver a utility trailer is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods

Experience:

• Carpentry: 2 years (preferred)

• Install and repair windows and doors according to specifications and building codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks
• Perform caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing to ensure energy efficiency
• Perform aluminum capping and have experience using a bender.
• Assist with restoration projects as needed, including construction painting
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
