JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Window Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and repair of windows, ensuring that all fittings are completed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in various welding and fabrication techniques.

SKILLS

• Proficiency in TIG welding and stick welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Familiarity with sheet metal work and assembly processes.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Install and replace windows in residential and commercial properties.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fitting.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for installation tasks.
• Perform TIG and stick welding as required for window frames and supports.
• Fabricate components from sheet metal as needed for custom installations.
• Assemble window units, ensuring all parts are securely fitted and functional.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
