JOB SUMMARY

Work to the company’s systems and methods of installation. Installing new or replacement windows and doors in houses and commercial premises, working with UPVC, wood, aluminium, and glass.

Experience:

• fitting and restoring windows and doors: 3 years (required)

Remove old windows and doors using hand and power tools.
Take measurements for new fittings, make any necessary changes to ensure the windows and doors fit properly.
Fix windows (single, double, and triple glazed) and glass doors.
Install porches and conservatories.
Carry out minor joinery and repairing of plasterwork.
Repair and replace windows in old buildings.
Clear away material left after the job has finished.
Work to a set schedule
Maintain a safe working environment within the working area ensuring all current Health and Safety is observed.
Perform any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Installations department and company.
