About the Role: Window Service Technicians at Western Pacific Building Materials perform non-warranty and service repairs at customers’ homes throughout an assigned territory. Our skilled Service Technicians must diagnose the customer’s issue, provide the solution, and appropriately explain the necessary repair to the customer with a positive attitude. Requirements Essential Duties · Perform window service repairs at customers’ homes by adjusting components, replacing parts and pieces, performing water tests, taking measurements, and documenting all work performed. · Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set appointments according to territory assigned. · Responsible for selecting necessary parts from window and door manufacturer required to resolve the issue. · Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures. · Exhibit Western Pacific’s core purpose when dealing with customers. · Demonstrate self- motivation and a positive attitude, along with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. · Present a clean, professional appearance and demonstrate a desire to provide world class customer service. Qualifications · Must be physically capable of climbing ladders up to 40 feet, work off scaffolding, lift and carry up to 50lbs. · A minimum of one-year prior customer service experience is required. · Prior glass or window repair experience is preferred. · A demonstrated technical/mechanical ability or background is required. · Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record. · Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background screening · Proficient use of hand tools to include; tape measure, level, saws, drills, etc.
