We are an independent window installation business, specialising in supplying and fitting high-quality uPVC/aluminium windows and doors. Our reputation is built on excellent customer service, quality products, and professional installations. We are now seeking a motivated and personable Sales Executive to join our growing team on a part-time contract basis.

As a Windows & Doors Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for inbound customer enquiries. You will manage and respond to leads via Checkatrade (and later, MyBuilder following successful probation), provide tailored quotes using a set price list, and convert these enquiries into confirmed sales. You will also be responsible for booking in jobs, taking deposits, and ensuring a smooth handover to the installation team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Charismatic & personable – able to build trust quickly with customers.
  • Organised & proactive – excellent at managing leads and following up.
  • Sales-driven – with proven ability to convert enquiries into confirmed jobs.
  • Computer literate – confident in using online platforms, email, and spreadsheets.
  • Knowledgeable – ideally with experience in uPVC windows, doors, and accessories (finishing trims, lintels, types of windows, etc.).
  • Experienced – previous sales experience in the windows/doors industry or a similar trade-based sales role.
  • Initiative-led – able to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Financially confident – comfortable handling deposits and payments.
  • Educated – good general education (degree not required, but strong communication skills essential).

Responsibilities
  • Manage and respond to all inbound leads through Checkatrade.
  • After passing probation, manage the MyBuilder account and respond to enquiries.
  • Follow up on leads proactively, ensuring no opportunities are missed.
  • Prepare accurate quotes using the company’s set price list.
  • Liaise with customers in a professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
  • Convert enquiries into sales by building rapport and offering tailored advice.
  • Book in jobs once quotes are agreed and arrange deposit payments.
  • Keep accurate records of leads, quotes, deposits, and confirmed jobs.
  • Work closely with the installation team to ensure customer expectations are met.
