Are you passionate about Windows systems and eager to work in a dynamic digital environment? NN Digital Hub in Prague is looking for a skilled Windows Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our Windows infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and top-notch customer support.
You will be part of a team of approx. 15 engineers responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure – mostly Linux, Windows and VMware related.

What are the tasks you will perform:

  • Technical Support:
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Windows operating systems, Group Policies, and Microsoft SCCM.
  • Deliver excellent customer support to internal users.
  • Troubleshooting:
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Document solutions and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
  • System Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Apply updates and patches to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor system performance and address potential issues proactively.
  • Optimize system performance through regular maintenance.
  • Scripting & Automation:
  • Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Create custom scripts to address specific business needs.
  • Security:
  • Implement security measures and protocols to protect systems.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other IT professionals to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Provide feedback to product teams regarding customer needs and feature requests.
  • Documentation:
  • Prepare detailed designs and work instructions for internal use.

What we expect from you:

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in a technical field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, and MS SQL (preferred).
  • Experience with IT processes (ITIL), DevOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, and Ansible (YAML).
  • Understanding of network protocols and services (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP).
  • Experience with Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and Kubernetes – advantage.
