REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience with supporting critical applications in a hybrid

environment

• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in Windows Server systems, with solid abilities in

administering Microsoft Group Policies and Microsoft SCCM

• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in performance and capacity monitoring for

critical servers

• A minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated ability to develop and support Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Azure, etc.

• Demonstrated experience with the maintenance and upgrading of Windows 2008 – Windows 2019

Server Environments

• Demonstrated advanced understanding of Windows server support
• Demonstrated knowledge of a scripting language, such as Ansible playbooks, PowerShell or Python
• Demonstrated ability to create automation scripts, deploy orchestration and automation processes and

products

• Demonstrated ability to make technical decisions needed to support a multi-tiered large-scale highly

isolated production environment

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

The following will also be considered:

• Demonstrated ability to work independently
• Demonstrated experience working with Change Management policies
• Demonstrated experience in creating documentation, Visio Diagrams, support documents, Knowledge Transfer sessions

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON K1A 0G
