Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an experienced Windows Support Engineer to join their team and play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing their hybrid Windows server environment. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, OS Platform and Operational Compliance, you will support both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, provide level 2 technical support, and work closely with application owners and developers to ensure system reliability and performance. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience supporting critical applications in hybrid environments, with solid expertise in Windows Server administration (2008–2019), Microsoft Group Policies, SCCM, Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform, and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. If you have a proven track record in performance monitoring, automation, change management, and documentation creation, and want to contribute to the ongoing improvement and security of a high-impact IT environment, we want to hear from you.
* 12 month contract position
Hybrid (required 2 days a week on-site in Ottawa)
Candidates must be eligible for security clearance (5+ years in Canada)
Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) *
