Description

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Offer an engaging and friendly welcome to customers.
  • Operate the till in line with procedures.
  • Ensure facilities are inviting and safe for visitors, including litter picking, checking toilets, and emptying bins.
  • Maintain stock knowledge to offer advice to customers and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Respond to and deal with customer complaints.
  • Reconcile products with documentation and unload vehicles.
  • Support stock operations as required.
  • Conduct all duties in a professional and safe manner, adhering to relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Complete health and safety checklists in line with Crown Estate policies and procedures.
  • Operate consistently in line with our customer service standards.
  • Contribute to improvements in customer service and overall operations.
  • Ensure adherence to Crown Estate policies and procedures, including cash handling, uniform, and lost property.
  • Act as a designated key holder, responsible for opening and closing the site in line with operating procedures.
  • Serve as a fire marshal.
  • Undertake any other duties necessary to ensure delivery of customer service across Windsor Farm Shop operations.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Experience working in a busy, front-line customer service environment.
  • Proven track record in an environment where the customer comes first.
  • Experience dealing with the public positively to resolve concerns.
  • Strong customer service ethos.
  • Good communicator, confident, friendly, and approachable with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people.
  • Flexible and versatile approach to provide support wherever and whenever needed.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and effectively problem solve.
  • Team player.
  • Organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • IT literate.
  • Food Hygiene level 2.
  • Physically able to handle stock.
  • Full driving license.
  • Adaptable and collaborative style.
