ABOUT US:

Croatia Unpacked is a small wine agency proudly representing some of the best producers from Istria and the Dalmatian Coast. With placements in many of Toronto’s top restaurants, we are now seeking to grow our footprint beyond the GTA.

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a motivated sommelier who is looking to work in wine sales and build their career developing relationships and establishing new contacts. This role is excellent for a candidate looking to take the first step on the wine side, but the right person will likely already be working in wine on the restaurant side and have a network established. You will represent the company as a brand ambassador and sales agent, focused on expanding our reach in Ontario markets outside Toronto. You’ll be responsible for introducing the portfolio to restaurants, wine bars, boutique retailers, and hospitality professionals in your area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop new HORECA and retail accounts
• Conduct tastings and presentations to trade clients
• Build long-term relationships with sommeliers, buyers, and restaurateurs
