WINE AMBASSADOR - CHRYSALIS VINEYARDS

We are seeking to hire professional individuals that will share the passion and story behind Chrysalis Vineyards and the quality wines that we craft. Applicants should be friendly and welcoming, ambitious, customer service-oriented individuals with strong hospitality and customer service skills. Possession of wine knowledge is a plus but is not required; however, ambition and willingness to learn are required. We work to maintain a team environment and ask that all applicants be positive, encouraging, and maintain professional communication with coworkers and guests at all times.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must be: 21 years of age or older, be authorized to work within the United States, must be able to lift 50 lbs, and be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Possess strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and follow-up with customers
• Ability to work with a team and be a part of its positive growth
• After training, maintain the ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish tasks independently
• Be able to able to follow both written and verbal communication

• Act as an ambassador for Chrysalis Vineyards and the Ag District everywhere you go
• Maintain a working knowledge and be able to share information about our wine and food offerings as well as the history of Chrysalis Vineyards
• Stay up-to-date on current promotions, sales initiatives, and specials
• Foster genuine relationships with members and guests through the provision of exemplary service
• Operate point of sales system and complete transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain the general appearance, cleanliness, and stock of the Tasting Room
• Perform opening and closing duties, which includes but not limited to:
• Cleaning the Tasting Room, restrooms, outdoor dining areas, etc.
• Preparing our tasting room stations for service
• Maintain stock of menus, club membership forms, etc.
• Participate in mandatory trainings
