  Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash transactions accurately.

  Proficient in operations, including product knowledge, inventory management, and customer service.

  Certified in Smart Serve or willing to obtain

  Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding products, and offer personalized recommendations based on their preferences while ensuring proper Smart Serve protocol is followed.
• 
  Regularly stock shelves and coolers, rotate products to ensure freshness, and build and maintain attractive displays that align with seasonal themes and holidays.
• 
  Ensure all products in the Wine and Beer department have accurate and clearly displayed prices and promptly correct any discrepancies.
• 
  Maintain a clean and organized department by sweeping, mopping, and following weekly shelf and cooler cleaning procedures.
• 
  Adhere to all relevant regulations, including verifying customer IDs for age-restricted purchases, and handle situations involving intoxicated customers with professionalism.
• 
  Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to ensure smooth and accurate checkouts for customers.
• 
  Monitor the store for potential theft, take appropriate actions to prevent loss, and immediately report any incidents to the manager.
• 
  Perform store opening duties, including cleaning and preparing the department, and ensure all closing tasks are completed accurately.
• 
  When deliveries arrive, ensure products are efficiently put away and stocked while following safe handling procedures.
• 
  Assist with any other tasks assigned by the manager, ensuring the department operates smoothly and customer satisfaction remains high.
