As a Wine and Spirits Assistant Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced staff in our industry and grow both personally and professionally.

Wine and Spirits Assistant Sales Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory and shelves
  • Develop sales and customer relationships
  • Open and close store locations, including fiscal balancing duties
  • Organize the store and maintain a clean and inviting environment
  • Attend and participate in tasting seminars
  • Plan wine and spirits tasting events for customers
  • Transfer products between store locations
  • Order products from outside vendors
  • Build product knowledge and collaborate with store management and marketing teams to exceed community standards

Wine and Spirits Assistant Sales Manager Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 2 years of related experience in ordering, sales, and management within the wine and spirits industry
  • Licenses/Certifications: Responsible Vendor Card required (may be obtained after hire)
  • Skills: Proficient in PC/Windows, data entry, cash register operations, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
