If you enjoy working with people, staying active, and being part of a team, this could be a great fit for you! “There are no strangers here, only friends we have yet to meet.” — Frank Oakes — Requirements Essential Job Functions: • Deliver exceptional customer service through personalized wine recommendations and product education, including food pairings. • Maintain strong knowledge of wines, varietals, regions, producers, and flavor profiles. • Promote featured wines, seasonal selections, and new arrivals to support department sales goals. • Support revenue growth through suggestive selling and upselling techniques. • Execute merchandising standards, including shelf organization, product rotation, pricing accuracy, and display presentation. • Monitor inventory levels, restock as needed, and ensure product availability. • Implement promotional displays, seasonal resets, and special event setups in alignment with planograms. • Comply with all store policies and federal, state, and local alcohol regulations. • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, professional, and performance-driven environment. Qualifications: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred Wine knowledge or strong interest in learning about wine Strong communication and guest engagement skills Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to lift and move wine cases (up to 40 lbs) Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays . Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods. • Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot, humid, and cold environments. • Ability to tolerate moderate levels of dust and cleaning agents. • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, and move as needed throughout the shift. • Ability to use step-stools or ladders safely and maintain balance while performing tasks. • Manual dexterity sufficient for handling products and operating equipment. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a busy environment. • Adequate vision (near, far, and peripheral) and hearing to safely perform job duties.
