DESCRIPTION:

About the Role
Our Wine & Food Assistants are an integral part of the daily operation of the Cellar Door, ensuring a “Customer for Life” experience for visitors at our Devil’s Corner location.

Food & Wine Assistants provide our customers with a personalised and specialised wine and/or food experience that exceeds expectations by:

  • being responsive to customer questions and needs
  • developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of wines/beverages, food and facilities
  • facilitating and conducting wine tastings
  • proactively identifying opportunities to promote and introduce the Devil’s Corner range of products and services to build and strengthen our customer relationships.

About You
To be successful you should have an interest in wine, be customer focused with exceptional and engaging communication skills to create lifelong memories for our guests. You will need to be at least 18 years old and hold a current RSA Certificate.

Qualifications and Role Requirements

  • Prior experience within the hospitality industry, wine industry or FMCG is desirable
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Hold current first aid certificate
  • Hold a current R.S.A. Certificate
  • Hold a current First Aid Certificate
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Demonstrated advanced customer service skills and orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to think laterally and creatively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities at one time
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-skilled team environment
