JOB SUMMARY

Parrish Family Vineyard is currently seeking a friendly, professional, detail oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Wine Guide Thursdays-Mondays. Wine Guides work alongside the Tasting Room Manager in creating memorable hospitality experiences and assisting in day-to-day operations. This position offers tips and commissions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 21+ Years of Age
• Exceptional Aptitude for Hospitality
• Hospitality/Customer Service Experience
• Winery Experience and Wine Knowledge a Plus
• Positive and Friendly

• Available to work weekends, events, and some holidays (ie: three day weekend holidays)
• Must be able to stand on multiple surfaces during a shift, as well as move from one space to another including indoor and outdoor locations

• Create memorable experiences for guests and wine club members by being attentive and prompt to meet their needs.
• Manage table service by pouring wine, serving water and food, bussing, and handling orders.
• Educate guests about the wine, family history, winery, winemaking, as well as answering guest questions. Training will be provided.
• Effectively suggest and sell wine to customers in the Tasting Room environment.
• Provide general tourist information including the local area, wineries, restaurants, ect.
• Accomplish wine club sales and sign ups.
• Accurately handle daily transactions using a POS system.
• Professionally assist with guest phone calls.
• Assist with Upkeep of the Tasting Room – Supplies and Cleaning.
• Assist in Inventory Management - Restocking.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Tasting Room Manager.
