Job Overview: * This is a 1099 Sales Position *
Are you passionate about wine and looking for a flexible and rewarding career? Join Time for Wine Tampa, a leading wine sampling experience company, as a Wine Sales Consultant! As a Independent WSC, you will be responsible for prospecting, making phone calls, and emailing potential clients to promote our wine sampling experiences, gift baskets, and customized wine labels. Your goal will be to build strong relationships with clients and drive sales growth. We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Independent WSC to join our team. As a Independent WSC, you will assist customers in selecting the perfect wines to suit their preferences and occasions.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels.

  • Make outbound phone calls and send emails to introduce our products and services.
  • Schedule and conduct wine tastings for potential clients.
  • Promote and sell gift baskets and customized wine labels.
  • Maintain and update client information in our CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the wine or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for wine and knowledge of different wine varieties.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum age of 21 and compliance with local alcohol laws
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

OTHER DESCRIPTIONS:

  • Host fun and educational wine tasting experiences for private and corporate clients in their homes or offices.
  • Share your knowledge and enthusiasm about our wines from around the world.

SKILLS:

  • Sales experience, preferably in retail or wine sales
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple customer inquiries effectively
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to learn about wine and wine pairing.
  • Reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Computer and a smartphone with internet access
  • Minimum age of 21 years and compliance with local alcohol laws
