Wine Shop Sales Associate – Upper Bench Winery & Creamery
Join our team and help create a welcoming, memorable experience for our guests. We’re looking for a passionate individual with a love for wine, cheese, and exceptional wine sales and customer service skills. This position could lead to future opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct wine tastings, educate guests, and promote food pairings.
  • Sell wines, cheeses, and club memberships while handling transactions.
  • Maintain a well-stocked, visually appealing shop.
  • Provide excellent customer service both onsite and at events.
  • Assist with patio service, private/public events, and food service.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and relay guest inquiries to management.
  • Open/close the shop and follow daily operational procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Serving It Right certification.
  • Strong sales skills
  • WSET or equivalent wine knowledge preferred.
  • Retail, sales, and/or winery experience required.
  • Familiarity with Wine Direct is an asset.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
