JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a motivated and hard-working person to join us at DB Sutton & Company. We’re a locally owned and operated salon and wine store located on Franklin Street. Our wine specialist is the face of the shop for our wine retail; you will be a friendly face for our returning customers, as well as a welcoming presence for new ones. The wine specialist will work closely with our owner to curate our wine buying, inventory, host wine tastings and be the primary salesperson for our wine collection!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate MUST be 21+ years of age.
• Flexible hours during business week, but must be able to work Saturdays.
• Maintain appropriate and professional work space and relationships with clients.
• 2+ years of Restaurant/Hospitality or Retail experience is preferred.
• Maintain clear communication with the team of receptionists and the owner.

  Pay: From $13.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

• Manage inventory of 100+ wines, maintaining knowledge of our selections and acting as primary salesperson for wine sales. You will be the go-to person for wine questions for our clients.
• Order from distributors/vendors, balancing new orders with existing stock.
• Input and manage all aspects of our POS. The wine specialist will help us to build out online ordering as well.
• Curate monthly sales packs featuring wines new or historic in our inventory.
• Host and develop communications materials for our weekly free wine tastings, held on Saturdays.

• Help us innovate! We want to work with our wine specialist to build out fun new events, wine spotlights and continue building the wines we have in-store. Also assist with our community outreach through donations.
