We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Normanview location as a cashier. This is a fantastic entry level position for anyone interested and looking to know more about wine, beer, and spirits!

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Serve it Right
• At least 19 years of age
• Customer Service or cashier experience will be considered an asset
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift cases of wine (25 lbs), and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service
• Attention to detail
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints
• Must be available for weekend and holiday shifts. Especially Sunday’s.

• Welcoming customers, answering questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints or involving supervisor when necessary
• Bagging or boxing purchases to ensure safe transport
• Confirming customers are of legal age by checking their government-issued I.D.
• Maintaining a clean workspace
