We are seeking a friendly and efficient Wine Waiter/ Waitress to join our dynamic team in a modern and exciting Wine Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience by delivering high-quality service and assisting with food preparation when necessary.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests, including upselling menu items to enhance their dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise during service.
Requirements
- WSET Level 2
- Understanding of food safety standards and regulations is required.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
