At Kitchen Farmacy/Cheeky Duck Vineyards we combine exceptional wine with curated culinary and event experiences. We’re looking for a hands-on, organized, and service-driven Kitchen & Event Operations Coordinator to support our growing hospitality programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to help create memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities:

Kitchen Support

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, food receiving, storage, and cleanliness.
• Assist chefs or catering staff with staging and plating for tastings, events, and private functions.
• Ensure inventory levels are maintained for kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate dishwashing and kitchen clean-down procedures.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Event & Hospitality Logistics

• Assist with set-up and tear-down of winery events, including furniture, décor, and serving stations.
• Liaise with the events team to ensure kitchen and service timelines are aligned.
• Support event execution with food and beverage service, bussing, and flow coordination.
• Organize back-of-house logistics for wine club events, weddings, tastings, and pop-ups.
• Work collaboratively with tasting room, kitchen, and event teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience in hospitality, event coordination, or kitchen operations is preferred.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and during peak seasons.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Food Handler certification an asset (or willingness to obtain).
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Interest in wine, food, and events is a plus.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• Must have access to their own vehicle for transport.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$28.57 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
