REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Wintel administration and support.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting Windows workloads in AWS.
  • Proficient with IAM roles, security groups, S3 access policies, and CloudWatch alarms/logs.
  • Exposure to security and hardening frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks and SCAP.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Trend Micro Vision One, Qualys/Tenable, AWS Config, and AWS Systems Manager.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for routine automation and operational tasks.
  • Understanding of backup and recovery strategies for Windows servers in cloud environments.
  • Familiar with ITIL practices and experienced in using ticketing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 operational support for Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 in both on-premises and AWS environments.
  • Manage and support Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPO), WSUS, and Windows clustering.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests related to Wintel systems using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Perform patch management and coordinate monthly/quarterly patching cycles using WSUS, SCCM, or AWS Systems Manager.
  • Support AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager (SSM).
  • Implement and review IAM permissions using IAM Access Analyzer, adhering to the least privilege model.
  • Execute and remediate findings from CIS Hardening baselines and compliance scans.
  • Address Vulnerability Management System (VMS) remediation tasks and implement Cloudscape recommendations in coordination with InfoSec teams.
  • Work with Trend Micro Vision One (or similar EDR/XDR platforms) for threat detection and remediation.
  • Assist in automation and remediation scripting using PowerShell, AWS CLI, and SSM Documents.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in IT audits, scheduled patch windows, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Perform on-call support duties and participate in 24x7 shift rotations as required.
