LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC
Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.

We are seeking employees with exceptional technical skills to become part of our success story. As a member of our team, the successful candidate will:
- Participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company and a college/university student enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company
- Work with a multi-disciplinary teams to create three dimensional (3D) models for compartment and topside arrangements for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Program
- Perform Quick Look analysis to prove concepts; including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Line of Sight, Cable Length Restrictions
- Conduct meeting minutes for design reviews
- Understanding of configuration/change management principles and their application in the product development life cycle

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Current student in an engineering field, preferably Electrical
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio
- Aptitude for working well in teams
- Ability to work independently
- Available for four (4) months, starting May 2024
- Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED FOR THE ROLE
- Working knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks PDM, Windchill or AutoCAD will be considered an asset
- Active security clearance will be considered an asset
- Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.
