Join our Grounds Maintenance & Snow Division!

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in snow equipment operation is an asset.
• Operate or learn to operate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, plows, salters, snow blowers and shovels.
• Strong knowledge of snow removal equipment and best practices
• Must possess a valid G class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Work independently in a busy environment.
• Previous experience with routine maintenance operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• This role requires flexibility and availability for on-call shifts.

Experience:

• Winter Equipment Operating: 1 year (preferred

• Operate a Plow Truck, Tractor, or other equipment in a safe, efficient and law-abiding manner.
• Spread sand/salt using the spreader as necessary.
• Hand Shovel as necessary.
• Record timesheet using the LMN Application.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on the vehicle, plowing and sanding/salting equipment, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Operate equipment such as truck cab computers, CB radios, and mobile phones to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers.
• Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in written form.
• Assist in loading and unloading of the sand/salt spreading equipment trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Report damages to client property manager/owner, such as signs, garage doors, fences, vehicles, and personal property.
  This is a seasonal position paying an hourly wage of $28.00-$40.00 per hour. The pay rate depends on experience and qualifications.
