Job Description As a Winter Sports Equipment Service Specialist, you are responsible for the professional preparation and maintenance of test and racing skis within the Winter sports division. Your main focus lies on operating state-of-the-art grinding and service machines and ensuring the highest quality standards in base, structure, and edge preparation. Additionally, you will support the bootfitting area to ensure optimal performance for racing athletes. You will work closely with the racing team, product development, and marketing to deliver maximum on-snow performance. Key Responsibilities Professional preparation, grinding, and structuring of test and racing skis Operation, calibration, and maintenance of automatic and manual grinding machines Ensuring consistent service quality and precision in base and edge preparation Performing waxing and final finishing for test and racing skis Supporting the bootfitting process (adjustment and preparation of racing boots) Assisting with product testing, validation, and racing events Organizing and maintaining the workshop area (tools, machines, consumables) Documenting service parameters, structures, and setups for internal evaluations Close collaboration with service technicians, athletes, the racing team, product development, and marketing Working cross functional and supporting on test center, SPC and warehouse needs Qualifications Requirements Completed technical or sports-related vocational training, or several years of experience in professional ski service Strong knowledge of ski preparation, machine operation, and workshop management Basic knowledge of bootfitting; experience with racing boot adjustments is an advantage Experience in racing or product testing environments is a plus Technical understanding, precision, and high attention to detail Independent, structured, and reliable way of working Willingness to travel for seasonal assignments (e.g., test events, races) Basic English skills We Offer A position within a passionate wintersports team with direct connection to athletes and product development Access to state-of-the-art workshop technology and internal training programs The opportunity to actively contribute to the performance optimization of our test and racing skis A workplace located in Grödig, near Salzburg, within an international sports environment Additional Information Permanent Contract, Full Time Job based in Grödig, Austria
